A resume builder that respects you

CleanCV started from a simple frustration: most “free” resume builders let you spend half an hour crafting your resume, then ask for $20–30 to download it. The free version often gives you a watermarked or plain-text file that's useless for a real application.

We think that's backwards. A resume is your document — you shouldn't have to pay a subscription or hand over your email just to get a copy of your own work.

What makes us different

Genuinely free. No paywall at the download button, no watermark, no “upgrade to export”. Build and download as many times as you want.

No signup. You don't create an account or give us your email. Open the builder and start typing.

Private by design. Your resume is built and saved entirely in your browser. It never touches our servers — which means we can't read it, lose it, or sell it. This isn't a promise we ask you to trust; it's how the tool is built.

ATS-friendly. Our templates are clean, single-column and text-based, the format applicant tracking systems read most reliably.
